Chatter Chairs
This is a great starter class for all abilities and gives you an opportunity to socialise and enjoy some light seated exercise. This will not just improve your physiological well-being but also your psychological well-being.
First 30 minutes – Socialising with the rest of the group, whilst tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
Second 30 minutes – Some light seated exercise that focuses on improving strength and balance.
Cost = Free of charge
Steady Steps
This is an evidenced based 24-week programme, delivered by qualified level 4 falls prevention instructors. The classes are tailored to everyone's abilities and will progress in difficulty gradually. Throughout the duration of the course, you will develop better strength and balance allowing you to feel more stable on your feet.
People are eligible for the Steady Steps programme if they are aged over 65, are at risk of falling (e.g. have a high fear or falling or poor balance) or have fallen less than 3 times in the past 12 months.

Steady Steps Plus
Aimed for those who have completed the Steady Steps Programme and want to continue progressing in confidence and keep active.
